Co-Founder, Center for Studies in Aging, University of North Texas

Dr. Herbert Shore helped to establish the Center for Studies in Aging at the University of North Texas and was a nationally recognized teaching practitioner in their Applied Gerontology Master’s Degree program. Dr. Shore was one of the founders for two senior provider organizations; Association of Jewish Aging Services and LeadingAge. His gift of passing on his passion for service to seniors has inspired hundreds of his students to continue his work of shaping the senior living industry for the better.
