Monsignor Charles Fahey, Marie Ward Doty Professor Emeritus, Fordham University, has spent over 50 years in advocacy for frail seniors beginning with the development of Medicare and Medicaid, continuing during his years at Catholic Charities, and culminating with the founding of the Third Age Center at Fordham University. He has been an ethical voice for society’s responses on long-term care issues for persons without adequate resources.
